Fern Larp no.3 – Hotel Paradise

Built at the turn of the 20th Century, Hotel Paradise was the height of fashion. It boasted senators, movie stars, and European aristocrats amongst its clientele. However, due to a number of unexplained deaths and reports of eery phenomena, gradually it acquired a somewhat sinister reputation. Eventually, in the 1980s, the building was abandoned...

...but not by the ghosts who still call it home.

And so, the decades crawl by in the forsaken Paradise. Still holding onto some ancient grudges, the resident ghosts lifelessly get by from one petty squabble to another, until one day, out of nowhere comes something that can change their unlife forever.

“Hotel Paradise” is a short-form, chamberlarp about ghosts trapped in an old, abandoned hotel of an unnamed, American city. Instead of following densely packed and moderated action, the game focuses on unique and colourful, pre-written characters, their relationships, secrets, dreams and flaws. The game is set in a mysterious, paranormal setting that combines the vintage elegance of the old hotel and the dinginess of the ruin it became.
